The law in Canada
In Canada, it is against the law to harm or threaten to harm another person, or to engage in harassing conduct as defined in the Criminal Code of Canada.
The Criminal Code of Canada, the Canada Evidence Act and the Canadian Victim Bill of Rights provide protection for victims and sanctions for offenders.
