During a violence incident

Try to make as much noise as possible (e.g., set off the fire alarm) so that neighbours may call the police for you.

If you are being physically assaulted, curl into a ball to protect your head and face.

If you and your children have a code word, utilize it so they can call for help.

The following are suggestions NOT recommendations on how to navigate such situations.

ALWAYS CALL 911 IF YOUR SAFETY IS AT RISK.
