Information to remember when creating a safety plan
When creating a safety plan, it is important to take of yourself, including your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
The safety of you and your children is always the most important thing.
You are not responsible for your (ex) partner’s abusive behaviour.
You are not alone. Even if not visible, there is a community of survivors who are advocating for you to succeed.

The following are suggestions NOT recommendations on how to navigate such situations.
ALWAYS CALL 911 IF YOUR SAFETY IS AT RISK.
